Elementis Spray Dryer

Elementis Specialties operates a hectorite clay facility near Barstow, CA. The project involved constructing a new Spray Dryer building with installation of supporting equipment and electrical services. Specifically, Phoenix completed the installation of concrete, structural steel, equipment, piping and electrical for the new baghouse to reduce mercury emissions at the existing lime plant.  The project included precision alignment of the ID Fan and motor.  Angular alignment of the motor coupling tolerance was .003”.
